Personality and Appearance

Az was an outgoing and energetic girl of Indian descent, although in recent times she has become quieter, more pensive and thoughtful. The daughter of a doctor and the younger sister of another doctor, she grew up knowing she would be a doctor as well. Unfortunately, on that fateful night of August 28, 2004, her hopes for the future were dashed in a graveyard just off of King Street.

Az has an addictive personality, and finds herself constantly craving a new high. Sometimes she runs with this desire; other times, she loathes it. Az was not very religious, growing up, but after the violent beginning to her Requiem, she is starting to become a little more introspective. She has blended Hinduism with Catholicism (or at least, the Lancea Sanctum version of Catholicism) as best she can, and is trying her hardest to balance the precepts of Longinus with a desire to stay humane, if not human.

Az is a small girl (5'2"), with long black hair that she keeps back in a frizzy braid. She appears to be in her early twenties, although due to her stature she is sometimes mistaken for a girl of seventeen or so.

Pre-Game History

In her first year of university, Az squandered her newfound freedom from her (somewhat strict) parents on drinking and partying. She realized, a week before her midterms started, that she had been to less than half of her classes, and hadn't cracked a textbook yet. Calling her brother in a panic, she spilled out her story. He arrived at her dorm less than half an hour later, bringing her some speed and telling her that this was how he had gotten through his first year. Az realized that she could use this to live both the party-girl life and her studious life... so long as she was careful about it.

Unfortunately for her, she wasn't. It was chasing a high that led her to Link; she was high on type-S when she went through her Embrace.

Perceptions of Others:

The Coterie:

• Cindy - Cindy... Cindy has a lot of problems and no way to fix them, and it makes her a very angry person. I don't blame her for it, but I wish I didn't have to run interference every time she pisses off D'or because she's annoyed. Still, she and I have got each other's backs, and I trust her more than anyone in the coterie.
• David - David, David, David. STOP BEING FRIENDS WITH BASTIAN AND FRANK. THEY'RE ASSHOLES. I love ya man, but seriously. Frank is never going to change, and Bastian... well, if you would actually try to CONVINCE Bastian that he was wrong, I'd support you a little more. (recently) When we find out who fucked with your head, they are going to pay dearly for having done so. You mark my words.
• Sam - He's... a good guy if you need stuff. Problem is, he's started seeing people as stuff. What is this "eliminating problems" shit? What happens when David's a problem? At least I have the grace to be ashamed of what I did.
• Frank - He is not the hot shit he thinks he is. I want to punch him every time he gives Cindy the fucking elevator eyes. Have some fucking respect for yourself, woman. Do NOT let this sleazebag drool over you the way he does!

K-W Kindred:

• D'or - At first he was like my dad, except with religion instead of science. He's got this very... relaxed way of seeing things. Sometimes it's comforting, sometimes it's infuriating. But now there's this whole, you know, blood thing... I don't know anymore. Plus, there's something about seeing God with a person that ties you to them.
• Charloette - I used to think she was a total bitch princess. Well... she was. Still is, sometimes. But I guess I understand her now. D'or thought I was giving her Vitae out of some twisted need to have a hold on her, I think, but it wasn't that. I saw the dead body in seven pieces. It was just methadone. We've weaned her. Maybe she'll stay off it, this time.
• Bastian - He came through when we needed D'or back. He's still a fucking neo-Nazi, but... maybe we can make him see the light.
• Tomoe - Ever since our little dominance war, she hasn't liked me much, even despite the fact that I helped her get permission to Embrace that... yeah. On the other hand, as long as she takes care of Cindy, I'll defend her to the death. Especially against Bastian. She seems to have shut herself away from the world now, not that I really care.
• The Greys - They were pair of cowards that kowtowed to anyone that looked like they might be in power. I figured that as soon as someone looked at them too hard, they'd scamper back to their little cockroach hidey-hole, and oh look - I was right. Dicks.
• Father Lee - He is a fucking traitor, and D'or trusted him. How could D'or trust him?! And now he's helped these Masquerade breachers into our city. He pretends well at caring about the Testament, but it's a lie, no matter what the Sorcery says.
• Tears Like Rain - I feel so sorry for her, and she's really cool too. I'm glad she came here. We'll take care of her.
• Archilochus - He doesn't care about this city except as some sort of proving ground for himself. Fuck that shit. We've already proved ourselves here, it is ours. Not his. He can wage his war with London from London. Even so, he helps maintain the balance of power, so as long as he plays by the rules, he can stay.
• Solon - This guy creeps me the fuck out. But apparently he's dead, now... and no one deserves that, even creepy fucks.
• Sappho - Bitch tried to act like the Indian vampires should all be in it together. Jove and Winston are cowards, and she and her 'friends' were intruders. She still is. Fuck her. I expect Bastian to play the race card, but if she's going to do it, I want nothing to do with her.

• Ordo Dracul & Lancea Sanctum followers - Belief should not direct the course of science. You are all morons and worse.
• Rimaldi - science is not a proving ground for belief, and human beings are not made for your covenant's "experiments". Perhaps one day I will try to find the remnants of those other coteries... and perhaps I can convince you that science should take precedence over religion. Faith is one thing; blind faith is wholly another.
• Vin & Alex - if I find you, there will be Hell to pay.
• The Boy - You're sweet, but not very bright, are you?

• Pierre - (before he died) (when he's not around) D'or's right, I should have more self-control. ...what does he see in Charloette anyway? He doesn't need her... I feel so guilty about this. (when he's around) Why would I ever say no? Mmm, Vitae... (after he died) I feel sorry for him, now, but more sorry for D'or and Charloette.
• Blackmoor - We killed her, and... if it was right, why does the Testament of Longinus tell us that vampires are meant to live forever so that they may be judged at the end of time? I should have said something.
• Vlad - I'm sorry he died. I didn't really know him, but he didn't deserve that.
