Blackmoor
Not much is known about Blackmoor, although Morgan's files have illuminated a number of things.
| Blackmoor's ancient, to be sure. I've only observed the Ventrue Elder a couple of times before Lee started to catch on to me, but I am certain that even if they are equal in age it's because she's spent time underground. While she's dessicated and demonstrates no motility in her legs, I'm fairly certain that these are the after effects of something that happened to her while a vampire ((possibly a Crone curse?)), because her arms don't show any of the usual development a lifetime cripple would have, and she has mentioned dancing during Crone rituals. |
| She doesn't know anything about boats, says that she's never seen the ocean, but I'm certain that Blackmoor is merely trying to hide her origins from me: she speaks a language that isn't Native American, and doesn't have its roots in any european language I know. She specifically mentioned having met the builders of the Black Orchid Gate, which puts her in town before 1900, and that she has seen the Ventrue Elder's face before arriving in the city, although she will not tell me where. |
| As far as her association with the Circle of the Crone, I know for a fact that she learned all of these abilities from somewhere, but cannot suss out whether the knowledge of them were mystically imparted like Lee's were, or if it comes from a supernal source. Two other vampires have tried to learn her abilities from her: she ate them both if she's to be believed. |
| Blackmoor's home was built for a family in 1947, she killed them and formed her first zombies from their corpses. Before this, she says that she lived closer to town but had to move away. |
| Blackmoor largely feeds through me. She has a mystic ability to break the vinculum of drinking vampire blood, a power I'd like to learn but won't express because she may try to kill me for combining my 'heretical beliefs' with her own. |
