Cynis Owain

Wood Aspect, House of Bells

Another Cynis, Owain surprises everyone - including his family - by being more interested in pursuing animal game than the more human games his brothers and sisters prefer. He is, however, an accomplished survivalist, and a good person to have on one's team during any sort of riding or hunting challenge.

Owain went to the House of Bells to refine his talents in archery, and is widely considered to be one of the best of the most recent crop of graduates. While not a great tactician, he is a good soloist and sniper, and a smart general could make great use of him.

Owain plans to spend his youth helping his House by finding artifacts abroad, a passion shared by his Sworn Brother Galen. After that, he imagines he will join the Legions, or possibly venture East into his family's satrapies.

In terms of the Empress and the Realm, Owain would generally prefer the Roseblack (for Ayori's sake), but thinks that the Roseblack is too unpredictable and aloof - he would rather have a stronger leader in place.

Appearance

Owain is a lithe young man that seems older than his years. Rarely without his bow and armor, or his familiar Hunter. Brown hair, green eyes, and surrounded by the scent of pine.
