The Big Run. Cross' In Nomine line had a huge following, and can be considered the barometer by which all the other comics are compared. Huge revelations came from issue to issue, and culminated in a huge unresolved storyline about the events in Dark Astoria and the group's efforts to deal with the Mists. It was ultimately done in by the disappointment of the fans due to a change in artwork. There were a lot of good storylines here, including: Sanctity and Ignorant Mass' slow, shy courtship and eventual wedding; Purifier's struggle to be accepted within the Church; and INRI's exploration of his history.
