The Lancea Sanctum
The Lancea Sanctum, or the "Sanctuary of the Spear", is a covenant with its roots in Catholicism. Lancea Sanctum doctrine dictates that the first vampire was Longinus, the Roman soldier that pierced Jesus' side with his spear. When he tasted Jesus' blood, he was cursed by God to walk the earth forever, damned. However, God also gave Longinus a purpose: through his acts of evil, Longinus was meant to drive humans back into the light and safety of God's love. Lancea Sanctum members today try and follow the teachings of Longinus.
The Sanctified may learn the arts of Theban Sorcery if they have at least a dot of Covenant Status (and can find a willing tutor).
