Fire Aspect, Cloister of Wisdom

Ashime is the daughter of a Dragon-Blooded father and a Southern patrician mother. Ashime was tutored in proper culture as a youngster in the South, but when she Exalted at age 12, she was quickly shipped to the Blessed Isle to play catch-up with her peers. Having lost a lot of time that others had to make friends, she quickly latched on to her cousin Kagai as insurance. Normally someone like Ashime would be the exact target Kagai would choose, but for some reason he tolerates her.

Ashime plays on her exoticness to entice people to her - she projects a worldly air, and is always willing to do the most thrilling, scandalous thing to get attention (positive OR negative). She in fact developed such a bad reputation for poor behaviour in the last years of primary school that everyone assumed that she would be sent to the Palace of the Tamed Storm (a reformatory for criminal children), but instead strings were pulled to send her to the seminary of the Cloister of Wisdom.

Perhaps someone thought that constant meditation on the devotional sutras to the Dragons would calm her down.

And she did, somewhat, calm down; she can speak competently on the Dragons and has mastered the requisite martial arts training, but she refuses to swear herself into monkhood - unsurprising, as things like "vows of chastity" would NEVER be kept up. She and Cathak Nadja intensely dislike one another.

It is likely that once she is older, Ashime will be sent South once more to oversee one of the satrapies.

Appearance

Ashime is small, dark, and quick, with long black hair that she braids out of her face. Because her Breeding is weak, she shows very few elemental traits.
