Mnemon Kagai

Mnemon Kagai is a bully and a cheat, and everyone knows it. Nonetheless, because he is a favorite of his grandmother's, he has never had to suffer a day in his life for such actions. Arrogant, swaggering, and afraid of no one and nothing, Kagai uses his power to abuse others.

In primary school, aged 14, Ledaal Ayori "poisoned" him with a love potion and slept with him. The repercussions of this event sent shockwaves through the Ledaal and Mnemon families, with calls for vengeance, and has utterly tainted Ayori's status within society. Mnemon loathes her and her brotherhood with a passion, and makes no secret of his contempt.

In the House of Bells, Kagai emerged as a brutal leader, willing to sustain heavy losses if it meant a win. A fan of 'raze it, rape it, pillage it', no words of warning from his tutors could soften his approach to warfare or swordplay. Rather than being a cog in the war machine, Kagai was a loose cannon - but teachers who spoke against him too much eventally retired. More than a few of his schoolyard enemies were severely wounded or, in one case, even killed.

Kagai clearly supports his grandmother taking up the mantle of Empress.

Appearance

Kagai is a good head taller than most other Dragon-Blooded, and is something of a powerhouse. No muscle ot of place, he has a wiry frame that flows like flames when he has a sword in his hand. True to aspect, his hair is bright orange, and his eyes a dark blue-black, like the centre of a flame.
