Nellens Galen

Water Aspect, Heptagram

Galen gets a lot of respect from his family, for he is one of the few members of his family blessed - if weakly - by the Dragons. As such, he can get almost anything he asks for, but at the price of being one of the few bargaining chips the Nellens family possesses.

Galen is the other half of Owain's love of exploration. Galen grew up reading stories of the Shogunate and the First Age - which were supposed to be cautionary tales - and fell in love with the idea of hidden treasures from these times and places. He begged his family to allow him to attend the Heptagram, where he forewent magical knowledge in favor of filling up on knowledge of the First Age.

He plans to drag his circle with him to find wonders untouched and unseen, and to prove himself by bringing this knowledge back to the Isle.

Galen's a bit scatterbrained in every other way, but his knowledge of ancient lore is almost unparalleled by anyone close to his age. Only those who have traveled extensively have deeper knowledge, and Galen has been known to talk to such people for hours on end to hear their stories.

Galen hates Mnemon, because she stands as someone who opposes his House. The Roseblack isn't much better, but at least she knows what it's like to be from a House in shambles. Galen figures that if the going gets rough, he's disappearing into the Threshold, never to return.

Appearance

Galen is short and wears clothes too large for him. He has fair blond hair tipped with sea-foam green and dark aquamarine eyes.
